It’s really a shame that what was once thought of as a proud All American law enforcement unit has become a corrupt political weapon for the very enemy it was developed to combat.
From preventing communist spying and infiltration to aiding and abetting the communist!
I wonder what the salary and benefits package is that not one single agent has never resigned in disgust. Must be a pretty nice package if it’s worth selling your soul.

J Edgar Hoover had a lot of convincing to do when establishing a Federal police force. His detractors were dubious as to the legitimacy of such a thing from a Constitutional point of view.
If adherence to the Constitution is one’s measure of what it means to be “All American” I’d say they started off poorly and went downhill from there.
