I agree with Keith and Seafire. 14 is hot. I ve had great accuracy and long case life with 12-12.5 grs of BD. I ve personally found the 40 and 50 grain bullets to be better ballistically to the 55 trainers as you start losing quite a bit more velocity with the heavier slugs. 2800 ish with 50 s and 2900-2950 with 40 s has ruined a lot of grd squirrels days. Those will also do fine to 200-250 yds!!
