I’ll put a used dryer sheet in the tumbler. Catches a lot of the dust and the dirt removed from the brass. It might help you.

Tear it up into fourths and it will work a bit better. Also, I uses Harbor Freight #12 walnut shell blast media. I pretreat mine with Nufinish, but there are lots ofbither cleaners and if I add some yellow bottle Heet to the media it will gather the dust to the bowl sides and then evaporate when you open.
