I''ve talked with quite a few truckers who regularly haul groceries up from Seattle area. Most every one just took other contracts and are hauling stateside now instead of up North. If this keeps up for very long, We will run out of fresh goods, or start paying REALLY exorbitant fees for goods to be flown up.
I expect Anchorage grocery stores to start looking like bush community stores within a month.


Shoot, stores in the Valley are already there for the most part. I’ve never seen so many bare shelves.
