Slumlord: No problemo I just kind of liked the guy - he is one of the few rockers of that era I did not get to see perform.

I have never asked any of the movie stars or rock stars I worked with for an autograph. And those stars include John Wayne, Janis Joplin, Sylvester Stallone, Yul Brenner, Steppenwolf, The Rolling Stones, B.B. King, Lindsey Wagner, Nick Nolte, Meg Ryan, Tom Hanks, Charlton Heston, Andre The Giant, Jimmy Morrison and dozens of others!
In fact after I retired from law enforcement and went to work with a private security and robbery suppression outfit they forbade any of us agents to ask celebs for autographs or personal favors of any kind.
So my advice to you is NOT to speak of things you are ignorant of as it makes you sound stupid (stupider?)!
Sheesh.
