so primed some brass, Hornady first and used Winchester small pistol primers for Hornet, did Prvi brass and used both winchester and federal small pistol primers, the brass was alright with winchester, but did not work well with federal, they were too tight and squashed the federal primers, so have to go back to winchester primers in this brass.
I've always used Rem 6-1/2 primers in 22 Hornet/K-Hornet with W-W, R-P and PRVI brass and have never had issues. I'm just glad I have a lifetime supply of them with the way things are currently...
