Start with 4.5 to 5.0 grains of Titegroup. Or, 7.5 to 8.0 grains of Power Pistol. Both of these have become my go to powders in both the 44 spl and 45 colt. Unique and Universal work well too.
Titegroup ignites consistently with small charges unlike some other powders.
