As much as some people may want ridiculous sky-high prices to be standard, one or two sales don't set a new standard price point.
With Tommy Guns running up the market for years, I believe the higher prices are here to stay. Not $7600 prices, but $2000 Savages are very common now, where they weren't a short time ago. The seller of the 300 above has a few others listed as well, and he seems to have hit a hot button with buyers. Hang tags? Long winter? Pent up demand?
