I have a new 6mm Remington coming next week and took a look at the 2022 Hodgdon Reloading Booklet. It does not list the 6mm Remington anymore, but it does have data for the .243 Winchester.

It would seem to me that I could safely use 243 Winchester data for the 6mm Rem., since the 6mm holds a few more grains of powder than the 243. What really interests me is that Hodgdon's data for the 243 includes a lot of the newer powders, and what data I do have for the 6mm Remington don't list most of the newer powders.

Anyone see any problems with doing this?
