I would like to have the full lug removed on a stainless 4" L frame I have. This is obviously more for the cool factor rather than weight reduction.

Has anyone ever had this done? Who did it and was the work satisfactory?

Any recommendations?

I have thought about it but don't really want to take after it with my bench grinder.
