I use quality springers for practice at my home. I have a Beeman R7 and R9 in .177 and a Weihrauch HW95 (equivalent to the R9) in .22. Beeman's are just rebranded Weihrauchs.

I've thought about getting a PCP, but there is a lot more cost and overhead, plus I can only shoot at relatively short ranges at home, and the springers are fine at that distance.
