I usually prefer the ttsx especially in the smaller calibers because they expend more reliably. With the larger higher recoiling calibers I prefer the plain tsx better because it doesn't get smashed and broken tips. The die punches used to form the hollow points in the larger bullets hold up longer so the bullets tend to expand more reliably in larger diameters.

I was looking at a buff hunt when covid hit and wanted a 416 ruger but my guide and friend told me just bring my 375 ruger with 270 tsxs loaded fast but not too hot. It runs them about 2800 but on my plains game hint I used 260 accubonds at 2860 for 5 one shot kills. My friend was a game Ranger in Kruger for years and has personally taken 27 buffaloes. He usually used a 458 Lott or 460 Weatherby but has nothing but good to say about the 270 tsx in a 375.
