Wrong again Otis. Only our carriers and subs are nukes. The majority of our capital warships are conventional powered. And we carry very few nuke weapons unless somthing major is going on.

You never served and it is obvious.

Considering our larger ships (carriers) are so much larger than the next class of ships, The Arleigh Burke class of guided missile destroyers such as the USS Michael Murphy I am sorry you misconstrued my meaning of the phrase larger ships. Our "capital warships" are our aircraft carriers "Otis". During the Cold War many ships carried nuclear weapons, the Tomahawk Land Attack Missile-Nuclear (TLAM-N) was carried by the Ticonderoga class cruisers but after the Cold war ended Bush had them put in storage. At the time we kept B52's circling the globe ready to use the nukes they carried. So "Otis" you can shove your stupid schit right back up your asss. Currently we have no ship launched nuclear missiles and a program to build the missiles has been shelved by your leftrat heroes. I don't know when you served but it appears not to have been all that long ago since you know so little. There were several classes of nuclear powered ships that were not carriers. These ships were decommissioned years after I mustered out.

Are you really this dumb? Capital warships include carriers, cruisers, destroyers, frigates, LHAs, LHDs, LPDs, LSTs and subs. Only the carriers and subs are nuke. They had some nuke cruisers but they have been decommed for over 20 years. And we load the vessels, even the ballistic subs, with conventional weapons and carry very few nukes on a regular basis.

Dont google wikipedia and try to tell me about the USN, I spent 25 years sailing before the mast, retired as a CPO and you dont know a damn thing about the USN.

You get out of life what you are willing to accept. If you ain't happy, do something about it!
