I dont think that is a bad price for what your are getting have you priced other stocks?
Yes. I am not saying its off the table forever but I think for a bit more money you could go with the microlight from MPI and be lighter if that was the end goal.
Still tinkering with my hunter a bit. It shoots good and should have some added grip on the stock with new paint job. How slick it was bothered me initially but still shot it fine.
