That is the only bullet I will not load anymore. I have wasted over 500 of them try to find at least one of my 5 different 223 rifles to shoot it. I have 2 that are not stock at all.
One is a ar15 i put together with a WOA 18" SPR with a matched bolt from them. It has a drop in trigger group that breaks at 2.75lbs. I am using a front and rear bag riders to help stabilize the gun while shooting. A 6-20 vortex viper fine crosshair scope. it shoots 69gr Sierras into a 0.29" 7 shot group.
The other is a savage with a Shilen select match 1-8tw at 26" The trigger is set to 1lb. It has a Boyds tactical stock and it is pillar and glass bedded. 6.5x24 mildot scope. It will put the Sierra 60gr hp bullets into a 0.17" group. The 69hpbt go into a 0.21" groups
The best I ever got with the hornady was 1.11" group out of all of my rifles. But I want something more accurate than I can make these run.
I hope you find something that works. If not, sell them off to get something else.
