My f150 makes 7.2 kwatts. I'm not sure how it works because I haven't used it yet but my main panel is set up to run a generator through it. I need to get the electrician out to put another part In the panel. I thought I'd paid when I built to have it set up and ready but surprise! I need a fee parts put in the panel still.
I'm not sure when it comes to portables what's different about the investor style but I know they are more expensive. I know you can daisy chain some smaller ones together too which seems like a good option.
