Firstly they get to raid the peasants economy again( ask the vikings, if it works once, keep doing it :D), two they get to run more advanced oppression related social experiments useful for all countries. The third one is to affect westerners into thinking our lockdowns and remaining restrictions 'aint so bad'.
Lastly we all need continuous distractions from "Covid Phase 2 Inflation ". if we didnt have news reports like this or nothing wars in old europe our brains might start working.
The only good thing is I wont have to argue against pro-vac/pro-covid morons soon because as standard of living goes down across a population, survival instinct goes up. When we are paying $15 for a loaf of bread the average pro-covid drone may actually achieve self awareness.
