I worked in central Mexico for 2 or 3 weeks a month for the year of 2016. Was all excited, watched Univision for a bit to get me up to speed. Sorely disappointed. Maybe 1 in 100 looked anything like the tv had prepped me for. Most looked like they'd just climbed down from out of the hills. Except for the hostess at the Italian restaurant. She didn't look like she'd ever been to the hills....
Then there was the morning at breakfast, our Vice President was sitting across the table from me. He kicks me under the table and nods. I turn around. About 50 Mexican college age girls in sports bras and spandex go parading by to the gym in the hotel. Got back that night and they're all in night gowns. Miss Mexico pageant was going on in our hotel. They looked like they were all going to be weather girls.
