Can't find 4350 so for a good replacement for H-4350 or IMR-4350, did a little reading and decided IMR-4831 and i have a plenty, was it Hodgdon web site and Hornady reloading Manual, both put max powder load for IMR 4831, in a 6mm Creed, at 45.0 grs. with a 105 gr. bullet.
Loaded 5 rnds with 42.5 gr. 105 gr. A-Max
5 rnds with 43.0 gr. " "

Thought i would get close to where i needed to be, and see what kind of groups these loads would show me? then work my up to a Max load, at 100 yrds the 42.5 gr load shot a 7/8" group, the 43.0 load shot a 1/2" group, the 43.5 gr group blew my primer on the 3rd shot, with 1st and 2nd having stiff bolt lift, stopped right there, came back got my Chrno, and Chroned, 43.0 at 3050 fps, from a 20" barrel, Double checked my scales, with my other scales and my scales are on the money, What did i do wrong??
