God bless you, Lowell George. He wrote a song for us truck drivers, Willin'.

Here is Linda Ronstadt singing it live in Atlanta in 1977.

I drove the Big Rig over the road for 8 years. Pulled in to the Flying J truck stop in El Paso at midnight I would play this song on my laptop.

"And I've been from Tucson to Tucumcari
Tehachapi to Tonopah
Driven every kind of rig, that's ever been made
Stayed on the back roads, so I wouldn't get weighed
And if you give me weed, whites, and wine
I'll be willin'....."

I loved this song. And yes, every time I drove the back roads to avoid the DOT scale, I was singing this song.
This song was written in 1975, but by 2018 times had changed, random drug tests. No drug tests in 1975. Bye Bye to the weed. Same deal for "whites," aka speed. Flunk one test in 2018 and you are gone!

I don't know if Lowell George ever drove a big rig, but he wrote an anthem for us drivers.
