I have stopped and scooped up dozens and dozens of clammed up box turtles in the road. Mainly after summer rains.
Relocate them to the center of our family property. Mature forests and stream, couple hundred acres for them.
That's pretty cool...except for Leonardo, Donatello, Rafael, and Michaelangelo who keep trying to escape your property so they can get to Shredder...serious though, that's pretty cool of you.
