I have been shooting a Hatsam .30 a couple of years, just added a .25 to my collection. Just started getting it "zeroed" today, but I like it so far.

What are the "real world" velocities you are seeing from the .25 ??
I've got a Hatsan 125 Sniper in 25 cal. With the 25.4gr JSB it gets about 690 fps at 4000' elevation. Down by the sea they seem closer to 750 fps from the reviews I've read or watched.
