I’m with you on that. I’ve long wanted a .444, but it’s really overkill for our scrawny deer. My last .45/70, a Number 1, was too much fun. I have a .44 Low Wall and the .357 on the way, so that oughta do me. Been going smaller with bottleneck rounds too, 6s and a Grendel.
