We lived in Boise where Paul Revere got started. My brother was a drummer and he was with the Raiders for a short time in the late 60's or early 70's. He didn't like rock, though. He said that for a drummer, it was too boring, nothing but keeping a beat. He preferred jazz because it let him get creative on the drums. I've seen a list of all their members over the years and he's not on it so apparently he wasn't with them very long.
He died in 2010. I met Paul Revere at his funeral when he introduced himself to me. Revere died himself 3 or 4 years later.
