I swap scopes and other optics around a bunch. The 1/2” nuts on the MTs make it quick and simple. Regular Warnes have to be almost disassembled. If you run a rail, once the rings are installed you can usually swap a scope onto another rifle so equipped for trouble-shooting or other purposes, and sometimes pulling a scope makes maintenance easier. It’s also useful to have a backup lightweight pre-sighted red dot or another scope for backup in some scenarios. Plus, they’re just excellent rings, which alone is enough for me. Very strong, with SS (blackened) hardware.
