One thing you can bet on is that the Red Flag law will be abused. If the cops or prosecutor wants a warrant served they will know which judge to take it to in to sign off on. It will be no different than other things such as "no knock warrants" there will always be violations.
The other thing is that you can bet it will be challenged, whether it will stand up will once again be up to the judge that handles that case.
That it blatantly unconstitutional is fairly clear but it will be a long time before it overthrown, or slightly changed so that it can be enacted once
again.
