.............................357 Magnum 170 Grain Keith Wide Nose Semi Wadcutter Hardcast Ammo................................

Friends,

I have just completed a run of 12-100 round boxes of 357 Magnum 170 Grain Semi Wadcutter Hardcast ammo, produced in new Starline brass.

This is a wide nose Elmer Keith design, and is an extremely accurate bullet.

It took 6 months to get this brass, so to answer questions in advance I don't know when this will be available again.

Velocity as tested:

6" Ruger Security 6 1,350 FPS
2.5" Model 19 K Frame 1,050FPS

This is a true Elmer Keith designed 170 grain projectile, and loaded properly. As such, the cartridge overall length (COAL)may be too long for some guns (like certain older Colts). In fact, this bullet was designed prior to the advent of the .357 magnum. The .357 Magnum has a SAAMI COAL of 1.59" (which is often too short for the use of many heavy bullets in the 170-180 grain range), and this ammo is loaded to 1.63".

This ammunition loads and functions perfectly fine in Smith & Wesson K Frame and Ruger .357 Magnums. If you have any doubt, measure your cylinder before you purchase.

This ammo was developed using S&W K Frames and a Ruger Security 6.

Like all the ammo sold, these are sold in 100 round increments.

I have 12-100 round boxes ready to go.

Just info, here are two 5 shot groups. Shot at 50 yards and 75 yards.
Obviously the pistol was not zeroed for the load, but it demonstrates the accuracy. The group shown in the upper left that is a tad over 1" is the 75 yard group.

Pretty good bullet design and quite a while was spent fine tuning this load to find the "sweet spot", where the accuracy and velocity were optimal. This is where the two really came together.

Price includes shipping and insurance.

It is $115 for 100 rounds, $230 for 200 rounds to your door, which after shipping and insurance works to a bit over 40 a box.

PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW.

Post the amount you want followed with a PM, so I can keep track please.

I take Venmo, USPS Money order, or checks (once cleared by the bank). I do not take paypal.

Again I have 12-100 round boxes.

The ammo will ship this Wednesday. If you pay electronically the ammo will still ship this next Wednesday.

* No, I don't sell them in boxes of 20. The shipping (not to mention packaging) is so costly that it makes no sense to do so .

You have to be 21 since it is handgun ammo. Will only ship to places where legal and it is your responsibility to know your local laws. No shipping to restricted states or jurisdictions. CONUS only, and I do not ship to, MA, DC, CT, CA or other locations with restrictions. These cannot be shipped to a PO Box. Must be a physical address.
