I bought my 16" 44 mag SS in 2010. I replaced the goofy bolt safety with a replacement peep sight a fellow on leverguns.com was selling at the time, replaced the plastic follower with a metal follower and replaced the front sight with a green F/O. great little throw on your back when checking stands and bumbling around gun. I killed a nice 8 point with it several years ago at around 75 yards with some 300 gr Gold Dots. Always wanted one in 454. That would be a hammer....on both ends.
