We are thinking of doing an all steel home. Have the building shell/frame figured out but I am thinking about going will metal studs and joists.

Looking for input on the metal joists and how they work. Been around a few offices w metal framing but they always have suspended ceilings and I will be going with sheetrock.

Anybody have some pics of how the ceiling joists work in a steel framed house with rock ceilings??

Yes a little more expensive than wood but from what I am seeing it is minimal. Exterior wall framing is done during building construction so the studs are just on interior walls.

Going to be built on a slab so no floor joists.

Input?
