Yeah, IIRC it was ‘91 or ‘92. Everybody was buying them up like crazy.
That’s what taught me to hoard a little bit.
Later on, I believe 2012, .22LRs became damn scarce.
Both taught me a lesson, if you enjoy shooting, try to stay a little ahead of the game.
Right now on hand I got probably 1500 large rifle primers, close to 2000 small rifle primers, and enough .22LR to choke a horse. grin
Not to mention powder. It’s been hard to find, so when I find it, I buy it. Bullets that I use, ditto.
I figure I’m very moderately well armed by Campfire standards.
When I buy the farm, Penny and Ben can fight over what’s left!
