5lb 11oz - Too heavy for backpacking. There are better cots for base camping. It's a non-starter for me. I suppose if horses were carrying the load they might make sense.
This wouldn't be a base camp cot. Guess I should have been more clear. Hell, my wall tent cot is likely 20lbs and I sleep like a baby. Grin.
