It depends on how fast you want to drive comfortably. Under 65 mph? the 60 series is pretty fool proof, carb, manual choke, crank widows, leaf springs, SFA, 4-speed manual. 62 series was essentially the same truck with fuel injection, auto trans, and power windows. Also 4 little square headlights.

Want to go 80 mph on the interstate? 80 series/ LX 450 has fuel injection, coil springs, SFA, and an overdrive auto. The early ones had the 3fe engine from the 62 series, '93 and later got the 1fz. Probably slightly more desirable than the 90-92 models with the 3fe.

Don't want to spill your latte? 100 series/LX 470 has IFS and will be the nicest offroad rig that you will never take offroad.

200 series/ LX 570 are really, really nice SUV's. Nobody even puts offroad tires on them.

Lots of imports starting to show up with diesels and other cool options that you couldn't get in America when new.
