There's no flat spot for hammering. That would bugger the sharp edge in a hurry.
I've seen lots of old harrow teeth but I don't remember any with a hook. Usually they look like a spike. I did find this photo of a meat hook, supposedly made to pound in a ceiling to hang meat. I don't know how it could hold much, though, without any mean of fastening it. I would question whether that's correct.
