I jumped a little when one hit my boot this evening after dove hunting. I actually saw it and was in the process of jumping when it struck after I had stepped right beside it. Saw that snakey shape as my foot was coming down right by it.
Got my nervous up. A tonic is helping.

Nothing here. That nearly 6” of rain and little cold front we had blew out what few local bird there were.
Still haven’t fired a shot.
