I just bought a mk 85 composite thumbhole stock that appears unfired. I took it apart and it is very well made.

I gave 250 for the one I bought and felt it was a steal.

I would not buy something that runs on any kind of primer given the possibility of primer shortages and even regulations. In fact, why not buy a flintlock? Really. Rocks aren't going away anytime soon.
