More birdwatching yesterday, this time from the ladder stand me and the China Doll put up Tuesday. Hoping it pays off once the rut kicks in and the chasing starts.
There were a few hunters in though, including a guy who just moved here from AZ that’s never hunted hardwoods. I suggested a spot he could try and mentioned that at least he didn’t have to draw to hunt here. He said “Yeah, buy a license and get tags, what a concept!”
