I have two W70 push feed fwts with boxes bought new that I think may be parts clean up rifles? One is a 20"rig with barrel marked carbine, and the rifle has factory iron sights. The caliber is 270 and the stock is a schnable McMillan. Box says black synthetic stock--no mention of sights. Product # 23131, serial in the 1,792,xxx range. Circa 1986?
Second rifle is 22" 7mm mauser, serial range 2,054,xxx with walnut fwt stock, and iron sights mentioned on the box label---circa 1992? Barrel is marked featherweight in cursive. Product # 22187 on box.
Both rifles have late factory iron sights with the rear leaf on a raised block.
