Anybody shoot one?

I had one for a few years. I traded it for a 9422 magnum after a jackrabbit safari with a buddy back in the early 90s. He'd borrowed a 9422 mag and it was a lot of fun. Though the idea was good it was a mistake, I got a lot more use out of the boat paddle stocked 77/22 mag. If I could pick one up reasonably I probably would. Both of those two rifles shot about the same, inch and a quarter at 100 yards with a 4X and CCI Maxi Mag +V ammo. I killed a lot of ground squirrels with that bolt action.

If the bidding is at $775 I would stop. For the same money you can get a new Christensen Ranger .22 mag. You get the same Ruger magazines mixed with Remington 700 triggers. I love my 77/17 HMR and don't plan to part with it .. ever .. but I wouldn't over-spend just to get the boat paddle.
