I had a 4 digit in .280 rem that had killer wood.
My late old B from 70s was decent.... on one side.

Both rifles at the show today were red pads and no dings or dents- from sides I saw.
I dunno if wood was replaced or what.

One buttstock was rather blonde compared to forend, that has some figure.
Did not handle to see other side.

I wanted a clean B in .243 win for chucks, replace mine that had throat erosion and was sold 35 yrs back.
But I have that clunker #3 in .219 and my dads beat to heck B in .22-250...........

so passed on it. Im a user, not a collector.
Now if a 1A in .243 or .250 sav popped up for decent, I'd proly have coughed up that wad o money in my pocket.
But then Id cry if I dinged up a pristine #1.

So proly just run the two clunkers I have.

I need more time and better health to run what I already have LOL
