For sale is an Ithaca M 87 Featherlight. It is the magnum big brother of the classic Ithaca Model 37. It is the exact same design, the only difference being the receiver is 1/4” longer to accommodate 3”shells. Receiver marked serial number is "MAG - 87XXXXXXX.
This shotgun comes with a 28” ventilated rib barrel and accepts screw in chokes. Included is a choke wrench and chokes. Barrel is marked as being chambered for 2 -3/4” and 3” shells. Also included is a 20” fully rifled Deerslayer barrel with rifle sights. It is marked "Deerslayer" as well as being chambered for 2-3/4” and 3” shells. The cost of an Ithaca combo like this these days is about $1500, if you can find one.
The shotgun is in VG+ condition and does show minor finish wear but no abuse. No dings in the stock or damage to metal parts. Mounted atop the receiver is a Weaver #62 scope base for those who wish to mount a scope when using the Deerslayer barrel. Base can easily be removed.
