Sorry I'm not alot of help. I pulled the rifle out and while I could have sworn there were numbers on the base, the only thing on it I could see was an "R" which probably means Redfield. I did put the mike on it and it was 5.45" long. One rear screw, two front screws. I can put some pics in your PM box if you would want them.

511114 - .300 H&H and .375 H&H magnum rifles with serial numbers above 66,350 (post-war)
511115 - .300 H&H and .375 H&H magnum rifles with serial numbers below 66,350 (pre-war)
