I was going to try pig hunting in CA one time, and contacted several land owners.
Apparently they didn't have that big a pig problem because every one of them wanted a trespass fee.
I ain't paying to help out with someone else's problem.

"I'll only hunt 'em for free!" are the people that tear down fences, destroy crops and pasture, leave gates open and litter up the place. Even shoot livestock!
Without some "skin in the game", those people can cause more destruction than the hogs.
