Look past the label Marine. He's a Marine who received a Bad Conduct Discharge for larceny and a habitual liar about pretty much every other credential he's held. Hardly someone worth trying to retrieve. Neither he nor Griner are worth giving up anyone here.

Funny that there are no details as to what the "spying" entailed. Government data or corporate data. Any chance in setting up his backstory the CIA recruited him in the military and created the minor military infractions to give him street cred to operate over seas?
At this point its hard to know whats real and what isnt....except I still think the US owes more of a debt to him than to her, and makes the fact that she is home while he isnt all the more egregious
