Talked to Starline today. They have no date when the .358 Win. brass will be available. I know i can buy Hornady brass from several sources at quite a bit higher price. Hate to spend the money for it when I've got 560 rounds of once fired Hornday .308 brass.
I've never reformed brass, preferring proper headstamps. Is there anything more to it than full length resizing in a .358 die? Would you folks just go this route?
I'd buy the Starline and wait for it, then play a bit with the Hornady.
From experience with 357 Herrett and 35 Whelen, the 30 cal to 35 cal step is rather large. Lee makes a tapered expander mandrel that helped me produce some good results.
