My 725 SA (originally .244, now .260, broke it's extractor. Numrich sent me one that I don't know WTF it was for- maybe a .222., tho I specified caliber. Probably a USPS reject parts handler.... for that and other reasons, I don't much care for dealing with Numrich, unless I must. Try Jack First in SD, tho. Good people.
I was informed by several people here a 700 extractor would not work in the 725. Got two from Brownells (I think), just to try.
The 700 part works fine, at least in my rifle. Not a hick-up. Don't believe everything you are told on the innanet.
