multiple Remington 740 and 742 in 30-06
Savage 99 EG in 300 Savage
Marlin 336 Sporting Carbine 30-30
Marlin 336A , 30-30
Marlin 336C, 30-30
DCM-purchased 1903-a3 Springfield 30-06, original sights
Browning auto-5 Buck Special, 12 gauge

Magical and memorable times way back when. Good people, safe hunters, a lot of laughter, good food and good story tellers. Doesn't get any better for a teenager.

I've hunted Delaware and Sullivan counties my whole life. My club/camp is south of Downsville. Back in the '70s, that would have been a pretty good representation of most of the camps in the area.

My heart's in the mountains, my heart is not here.
My heart's in the mountains, chasing the deer.
