I just scoped up one of my latest gun shop finds, a weatherby mk5 chambered in 7-300roy all sitting in a brown precision stock.

I plopped a surplus to me meopta 4.5-14 with turrets in some burris signature zees on cheapo weaver bases....because I had them.

This rig balances nicely and has all the makings of something special.

I stuffed some 180 hornys over some magpro to test fire and form some brass.

Fingers crossed.... this could be a fun one.

I would not buy something that runs on any kind of primer given the possibility of primer shortages and even regulations. In fact, why not buy a flintlock? Really. Rocks aren't going away anytime soon.
