I had one for 5 years or so and just sold it to finance another rifle project. Excellent rifle very well made,,breaking it it is a long project though, mine was the 22" version and super accurate, hitting floating targets at 100yds easily. I plinked with 350gr Hornadys and killed 4 brown bears on our property with 500 Hornady's. 3 one shot kills and the last one I was shooting at a dark shape in between our Karelians with reflective collars at midnite and gave him a triple tap at about 25' away.

I only had the 500 S&W revolver for about 12 years and although I intended to hunt with it, it turned out to be just a range toy for me.
Typically loaded it with the 440 grain Cast Performance bullet and a stout charge of Accurate #9.
