I own one of the original (3" barrel...2.5" .410) Taurus "JUDGE" revolvers. It does appear to be a strong piece. My experience thus far suggests that it is NOT a good grouse/rabbit gun...it does shoot .45 Long Colt extremely well...and with .410 buckshot, it is probably a dynamite self-defense house gun. Iam seriously considering the purchase of one of the newer models with 6" barrel that can handle 3" .410 loads. That could be a good grouse/rabbit gun.
