The old core lokts have been really reliable and accurate for me in handloads. My friend has been shooting 130 grain core lokts for over 20 years in his pre 64 270. He has killed dozens of elk and deer with that bullet. He just killed a big cow elk about a month ago at 400 yds. Through both lungs, she trotted a little bit, and then fell over dead. Pretty low drama. I did get him to put a SS 3x9 on the rifle, and he loves it. Pretty much just uses the hash marks for holdover.
